Background
Fara founded Island Wide Speech in 2013, after several years of working in the clinical field. Fara's clientele ranges in age focusing on auditory, speech and language therapy in individual and group sessions. She has a specialty in auditory oral therapy for individuals with hearing loss, auditory processing disorder, and other listening challenges.
Licensure
Fara is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed in the state of New York as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Difficulties (TSSLD), and is PROMPT Trained. Fara received her Bachelors degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from SUNY at Buffalo.

Research
Fara's research explores peer-to-peer conversational skills and interactions of children with hearing loss, with a focus on group therapy techniques. She has created and conducted new group programs focusing on social communication of preteens and teenagers with hearing loss. In addition, Fara has executed an infant through toddler program focusing on specific literary protocols and social communication as part of a multidisciplinary team with an audiologist.

Background
Lily began working with Island Wide Speech in Fall 2017. Outside of Island Wide Speech, she works for a non-profit private high school. Lily has experience working with a variety of speech and language disorders and ages. She has specialities in working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, voice disorders, and language disorders and delays.

Lily is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed in New York State as a Speech Language Pathologist and a Teacher of Student Speech Language Difficulties (TSSLD). Lily is also certified in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT), a specialized therapy for individuals with voice disorders. Lily received her Bachelors degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in disabilities studies from Hofstra University, and Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from CUNY Brooklyn.

Laura De Trolio, M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Background
Laura began working at Island Wide Speech in August 2015 while working simultaneously for a school within the non-profit sector. She originally began her career as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist while living in New Jersey. She worked with multiply-disabled students in the non-profit educational system and as an independent contractor with the New Jersey Early Intervention system. She is adept with providing therapy for speech and language delays and/or disorders, programming and modifying Alternative/Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices. She is certified in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Level I.

Laura is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed in the state of New York as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Difficulties (TSSLD). In addition, Laura is certified in New Jersey and holds the New Jersey Language Specialist Certification. Laura received her Bachelors of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Stroudsburg University and her Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University.
